Job Details - Job Summary: RN position in Oncology unit at Medical City Dallas.
- Unit Information: 8S Oncology, 21 beds, currently 8-12 patients.
Job Requirements - Required Certifications: RN, BLS
- Oncology background is a must.
Schedule Information - Rotating weekends, no on call.
Unit Specific Information - Unit Guidelines/Policies: Neutropenic precautions, Strict I and O, CHG Bath and linen change q24 hours, Dressing change q7 days, Lines and caps q96 hours, No children under 16 allowed.
Additional Details - Type of staff: Day Shift - 1 charge, 3/4 RN, 1 PCT; Night Shift - 1 charge, 3/4 RN, 1 PCT.
- Patient Ratios (ESTIMATED) - 1:3/4 flex to 5.
- Type of equipment - Baxter pumps.
- EMR - Meditech.
