Support OTs and OTAs during therapy sessions by preparing materials and equipment, and assisting students with exercises and activities.
Set up and maintain therapy spaces, ensuring they are safe and equipped for various therapeutic activities.
Support Classroom Integration: Help integrate therapeutic activities into classroom settings, promoting functional skills and independence among students. Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Certification Requirements:
Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) can enhance job prospects. Experience:
Play a vital role in assisting students with disabilities, particularly those in the Early Intervention/ Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSE) programs.
