Weekly schedule: 5X8.
Schedule Notes: Mon-Fri 7:00am-5:30pm
Weekend Requirements: None.
On Call Requirements: On call coverage nights, weekends, holidays. Description:
Under general supervision, performs professional Occupational Therapy activities consisting of planning, evaluating, establishing and implementing individual and group treatment activities under the direction of a physician. Interpret a physician's referral and select an appropriate standardized evaluation procedure.
Evaluate patient in the following areas: independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills and various psychosocial skills.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology or a certificate/degree-granting program in a health science. Licensing/Certification:
Required:
Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of practice (or eligible for licensure).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy, especially with patient evaluations and treatment planning.
Experience working with various populations, including pediatric and adult patients, is desirable.
Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and various equipment used in occupational therapy.
