Job Details - Job Summary: Occupational Therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory-perceptual, and other aspects of performance in a variety of contexts and environments to support engagement in occupations that affect physical and mental health, well-being and quality of life.
- The Occupational Therapist II assesses individual patients' Occupational Therapy needs and then establishes and implements an occupation-based treatment program and goals, using the therapeutic use of everyday activities to develop, regain, or improve the skills needed for daily living in the home, community, workplace, school and other settings.
Job Requirements - Eighteen (18) months experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute healthcare system environment.
- Experience with a range of diagnoses including general medicine, orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary.
Unit Specific Information - Demonstrates competency in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Quality Reporting Program (IRF QRP).
Additional Details - May require travel to patient's home for home evaluation.
