Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PCU Telemetry Nurse to join our team at the Akron campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and experience with a variety of medical patient care, including cardiovascular and neurological treatments. This position requires candidates to be proficient in IV and blood drawing. You will be providing care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring and other specialized care such as progressive care level treatments, including EKG interpretations and CHF treatment.
Unit Overview:
- 32-bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit
- Primary care for medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Patient population includes cardiovascular and CHF patients.
- Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5.
Requirements: - BSN
- Proficient in EKG interpretations
- Phlebotomy Experience
