Description:
Specialized Critical Step-Down Care: The IMCU provides advanced, evidence-based care for adult patients who require more support than a general medical-surgical unit, offering continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring.
Diverse Patient Admissions & Services: Patients come from various hospital units, including the Emergency Department, ICU, and Post-Anesthesia Care. The unit manages airway support, BIPAP, arterial/central lines, and titrated IV infusions.
Multi-Disciplinary, Adaptive Approach: The team is highly vigilant, adaptable, and compassionate, tailoring care based on individual patient needs with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary strategy.
