Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $66.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,376.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $24.78
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $892.08
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,483.92 OR For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $70.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,520.00 About the Unit:
TheIntermediate Care Unit (IMCU)is a 26-bedcritical care step-down unitdelivering evidence-based, compassionate care to adult patients with complex needs. Patients are admitted from theED, ICU, PACU, ormedical-surgical floors, and require more specialized monitoring and interventions than general med-surg patients.
Our patient population includes those needing:
- Continuous telemetry and pulse oximetry monitoring
- Acute BIPAP respiratory support
- Arterial lines, central lines
- Titrated medicated IV infusions
- Specialized post-op or high acuity observation
Required Credentials:
- Active RN license - New York State (must be in hand at submission)
- Certifications:
- BLS - American Heart Association
- ACLS - American Heart Association
- NIHSS - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
Preferred Experience & Clinical Skills:
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response:
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Participation in Rapid Response Teams
IV Therapy & Phlebotomy:
- Central and peripheral line management
- Blood product administration
Medication Management:
- Managing cardiac IV drips (non-titrating)
Respiratory Support:
- Nasal cannula
- Oxygen face masks
- Non-invasive airway management (eg, BIPAP)
Professional Skills:
- Strict adherence to isolation precautions and infection control protocols
