Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment at a high-acuity facility. The ideal candidate must be proficient in handling complex surgical cases and thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
Must-Have Experience: - Cardiac surgeries
- Neurosurgery
- Thoracic procedures
- Orthopedic surgeries
- Vascular surgeries
Key Responsibilities: - Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical cases
- Prepare the OR for procedures and ensure all surgical equipment is sterile and ready
- Monitor patient vitals and advocate for patient safety throughout the perioperative period
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies
equirements: Current RN license in NY BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience Strong skills in all required specialties (cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, vascular) Interested Call/text
