Registered Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care and supporting families during emotionally challenging times.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct nursing care to neonates, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing ventilators and other life-support equipment.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists and the NICU care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Support and educate families, providing emotional guidance and clear communication regarding the infant's condition and care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
  • Ensure a sterile, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for newborns.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to neonatal emergencies.
  • Uphold infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
  • Minimum of 1 year of NICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm in high-stress environments.
