Job Title: Travel RN - Neuro-Progressive Care (Nights) Facility: Albany Medical Center - Main Campus Location: 43 New Scotland Ave, Albany, NY 12208 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12 hours) Every other weekend Rotating holidays Position Type: Travel Contract Compensation:
• Weekly Gross: $2,856.00 Per Week
• On W2(Taxable): $756.00 Per Week ($21/hour)
• Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,100.00 Per Week Job Description: Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Travel RN to join the Neuro-Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week night shift assignment. This position is ideal for nurses with a solid foundation in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU settings who are passionate about delivering specialized care to complex neuro patients. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care in a neuro-progressive/stepdown environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient recovery and neurological conditions
• Monitor and assess neurological status, respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with diagnostic procedures
• Accurately document in Epic EMR (experience required) Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, or ICU nursing
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Must pass a Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer
• Strong critical thinking, clinical, and communication skills Additional Information:
• No local candidates from ineligible counties (as of 1/11/2024)
