Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing various medical and surgical procedures. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will utilize your clinical skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Perform medical procedures such as phlebotomy, suturing, and dialysis as required.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols within a Level I or Level II Trauma Center environment.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of RN MS/Tele Experience required.
- BLS, ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS.
- NY State license.
- Covid Card required.
