Pay Rate:
For Local Candidates: $89-$92/hour(If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50-mile radius from the facility)
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $92.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $3,312.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $57.39.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $2,06.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,245.00 OR For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $95.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $3,420.00
Join our dedicated Family Birthing Center team as aRegistered Nurse (RN)providing comprehensive care throughout theLabor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)continuum. This role supports mothers and newborns by delivering compassionate, evidence-based care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and educating families to promote wellness and safe transitions home.
Other Skills Required:
- Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health status throughout the LDRP phases.
- Educate patients and families on pregnancy, postpartum recovery, infant care, and breastfeeding.
- Provide immediate newborn care and collaborate with nursery nurses for couplet care.
- Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures.
- Document assessments, interventions, and education accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Respond effectively in emergency situations to ensure patient safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Support orientation and training for new staff and ongoing learning within the unit.
- Float to assist other units during emergencies when needed.
Requirements:
