Position Information:

Scope of Role:
Caring for inpatient Adult psychiatric patients which includes, completing admission and shift documentation, creating care plans, administering medications as ordered by the physician, de-escalation of patients in crisis, therapeutic communication, providing patient education and completing discharge documentation.
• Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN - Behavioral Health IP
Types of Service:
Inpatient adult psychiatry: acute stabilization for patients experiencing a mental health crisis. Length of stay is 3 to 5 days.

Shift Hours:
6:45p - 7:15a (Nights - 3x12's)
Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend and Holiday
On-Call- Requirements: None
• Required Certifications: BLS, CPI/Aggression Management Program & VA State License or Compact
• Years of Experience: 2+ years
