Requirements:
1 year charge nurse experience
Professional experience that demonstrates ability to understand the clinical practice environment
2 years clinical nursing experience preferred
Current RN license in District of Columbia required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Skills:

Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to adapt to multiple changing priorities

RN - Clinical Supervisor Location: Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, Washington, DC Shift: 12-Hour Day Shift/Night shift (36 hours/week) Job Overview: Seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor for the each departmental Unit/Floor. A. ICU RN CLINICAL SUPERVISOR 3 openings(1 DAY SHIFT, 2 NIGHT SHIFTS) B. ED ADULT RN CLINICAL SUPERVISOR 1 opening(1 DAY SHIFT) The ideal candidate will provide shift-to-shift oversight for clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service, and resource utilization. Responsibilities include maintaining the environment of care, ensuring patient-centered treatment, providing real-time feedback to staff, and participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Requirements: - 1 year charge nurse experience - 2 years clinical nursing experience preferred - Active RN license in the District of Columbia - Certification in specialty preferred - Successful completion of unit-specific certifications (PALS, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, chemotherapy certification, etc.) Skills & Expectations: - Effective verbal and written communication - Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to multiple changing priorities - Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development - Must live 50 miles away
