Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Facility: MVHS Inc., Utica, NY
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)
Schedule Type: Deferred Schedule
Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Start Date: June 2, 2025
End Date: August 31, 2025
Overtime Pay:
- Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
- Weekly OT after 48 hours (based on multiplier)
On-Call: Not required
Responsibilities - Provide critical care nursing in a 42-bed ICU unit
- Maintain patient ratios across Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma units
- Float to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
- Manage CRRT and Prismaflex treatments
- Prioritize heart experience for patient care
Requirements - Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (including SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
- Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Active NY RN License & all active RN licenses (NURSYS verification required)
- EMR Experience: EPIC required
- Up-to-date resume documenting travel experience
- Two recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Driver's license with matching demographic address

- Neuro/Med: Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI
- CTICU: CV Surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surgery
- Surg/Trauma: Trauma, Major post-op surgeries
