Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans.
Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Current Oklahoma RN License required.
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment.
Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required to be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter.
Ascension Specialty Exam required prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years thereafter.
Ascension Color Vision completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics completed within a year of start updated yearly.
Group A is updated yearly, Group B-F is updated every 2 years.

Must be AHA certified for BLS.
Documentation of vaccination series completion or declination to vaccine required.
