Job Details - Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans.
- Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Job Requirements - Current Oklahoma RN License required.
- Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
- Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment.
- Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required to be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter.
- Ascension Specialty Exam required prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years thereafter.
- Ascension Color Vision completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
- HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics completed within a year of start updated yearly.
- Group A is updated yearly, Group B-F is updated every 2 years.
Additional Details - Must be AHA certified for BLS.
- Documentation of vaccination series completion or declination to vaccine required.
