Unit Description: Join our dynamic Emergency Department Float Pool, where you will have the opportunity to work across all four campuses of our healthcare system. Our facilities include:

- Pennington, NJ 08534
- Browns Mills, NJ 08015
- Trenton, NJ 08629
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Float Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in our fast-paced emergency settings. This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to different environments and teams across our campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Float between all four emergency department locations as needed, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in various stages of emergency treatment.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Cerner).
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department nursing experience.
- Valid New Jersey or Compact Nursing License required at the time of submission.
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week.
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required.
Uniform:
