We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion to join a leading outpatient care team in Traverse City, Michigan. This Day Shift (5x8 hours) opportunity focuses on chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration in a patient-focused ambulatory setting. Roles and Responsibilities: Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and non-oncology infusion medications in a safe and timely manner. Monitor patient reactions and vital signs during and after treatment, promptly addressing any adverse effects. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams to optimize treatment outcomes. Educate patients and families about medication protocols, side effects, and post-treatment care. Document all care using Aria Oncology (Varian) and Oracle Powerchart EMRs. Maintain infusion equipment, ensure proper medication handling, and follow institutional safety protocols. Provide patient-centered care while fostering a calm and comfortable treatment environment. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 1 year of outpatient infusion experience required Oncology and non-oncology infusion experience - Preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Required Licensure: Active Michigan RN License - Required Certifications: ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Provider Certification - Required BLS (AHA) - Required Skills: Proficient in IV insertion and medication administration Strong communication, patient education, and documentation skills Familiarity with Aria Oncology (Varian) and Oracle Powerchart - Preferred Job Highlights: Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:55 AM - 4:30 PM Setting: Outpatient Infusion Clinic (Part of Cadillac Hospital; Employees of Munson Medical Center) Schedule: 40 hours per week (Hours not guaranteed) No weekends, holidays, or on-call required Work-life balance in a serene Northern Michigan location If you are a dedicated Infusion RN with ONS/ONCC certification and a passion for outpatient oncology care, this Traverse City role offers a rewarding environment in a close-knit healthcare team.
