Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Oregon.

INeuro Trauma ICU RN Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements). Orientation for this unit will be held bi-weekly on Mondays. i.e. 3/3, 3/7, 3/31, 4/14 etc. Shift: 3x12 Nights Ratios: 1:2 Years of Experience REQ: Minimum of six months critical care experience in an acute care facility within the last five years required, or successful completion of an approved critical care training course/orientation and standard competencies within six months of hire. Preferred: Minimum of one year RN experience in an Intensive Care unit specializing in Cardiac, Neuro or Trauma preferred. 1 year of Epic experience is required. Would prefer an experienced traveler with 2-3 prior completed assignments. Weekend REQ: must be flexible, scheduled based on unit needs Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, TNCC/TCAR, NIHSS are required. CCRN, CSC, SCRN and TCRN are preferred. Skills REQ: Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, and Temp pacers.
