  • Number of Beds: 26
  • Patient Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1
  • Equipment: Philips monitors, chest tubes, art lines, wound vacs, pacer boxes, pacing wires, drains, EKOS, Nicom, BIPAP, Airvo
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Type of Patients on Unit: Cardiac/Thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, alcohol withdraw, resp distress, insulin drips
  • Personality Fit: Team player

  • Any unacceptable attire: Anything but black scrubs or Mercy-logo attire
    Additional Details
  • Flu Vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1-April 1. Declinations/Exceptions are not accepted.
  • Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
  • Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
  • Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
  • Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
