WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Rochester, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,016 per week for this role.
Job Function:
- Night Shift.
- 7pm - 7am.
Prepares and administers prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, and accurately documents all administrations.
Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with nursing policies and procedures.
Educates patients on surgical procedures and documents their medical history and vital signs.
Monitors and adjusts specialized medical equipment used on patients.
Interprets and records data from electronic monitoring systems to ensure accurate patient care.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
2 years of acute care experience in a Med/Surg setting required.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
