Registered Nurse (RN) - Vascular OR
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:
- 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- One on-call shift per week
- One on-call weekend per month
- One working weekend shift per month
- Note: Consecutive shifts are not guaranteed.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Vascular Operating Room (OR) procedures. This position requires candidates who are confident, knowledgeable, and experienced with both open and endovascular surgical cases. Please read the requirements carefully - only candidates meeting all qualifications will be considered.
Position Requirements:
- Open Vascular Surgery Experience:
- Cases ranging from amputations to open abdominal aortic repairs.
- Hybrid/Endovascular Case Experience:
- Peripheral angiograms and venograms with radiographic interventions.
- Endovascular aneurysm repairs (EVAR and similar procedures).
- Certifications:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience required.
- Must have documented experience in the vascular procedures outlined above.
- Technology:
- EPIC EMR experience highly preferred.
Additional Information: Candidates must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility (no local RNs accepted). Facility may call off up to three shifts during a 13-week contract and two shifts for contracts shorter than 13 weeks. Must be available to work every other holiday.
