• Weekly Gross: $4,380.00 Per Week
• On W2(Taxable): $2,000.00 Per Week ($50/hour)
• Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,380.00 Per Week Position Summary: Berkshire Medical Center is seeking an experienced Interim Administrative Director (Registered Nurse) to oversee hospital operations during evenings, nights, and weekends across two campuses. This leadership role requires strong decision-making abilities, operational oversight skills, and the capacity to manage diverse teams and departments during off-peak hours. The ideal candidate will act as the highest on-site authority during off-hours, directing inpatient units and all supporting ancillary departments. This position requires a seasoned RN leader capable of effective coordination, real-time problem-solving, and a proactive approach to hospital operations and patient care. Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the administrative lead during off-hours, ensuring smooth hospital operations across departments.
• Provide operational leadership and support to inpatient, ancillary, and support service departments.
• Manage emergencies, trauma, and critical care situations with sound clinical judgment.
• Ensure policy compliance, conflict resolution, and equitable decision-making aligned with organizational standards.
• Maintain active communication between departments and senior leadership as necessary.
• Float between North Adams Regional Hospital and Berkshire Medical Center campuses based on operational needs.
• Foster an environment of professionalism, compassion, and performance excellence. Qualifications:
• Education: o Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business, Allied Health, or related field required o MSN or other graduate-level education preferred o Ongoing continuing education and professional development required or strongly preferred
• Experience: o Minimum three (3) years of successful healthcare leadership experience strongly preferred o Proven experience in conflict resolution, emergency response, and critical care required o Familiarity with staffing systems and acute care hospital operations preferred
• Licensure & Certifications: o Current Massachusetts RN license - required at the time of submission o BLS/CPR certification - required Skills & Attributes:
