Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay Rate: Gross Weekly- $2,176.00 ($20/hr on w2 + $1,456 Non Taxable Stipend)
Unit Overview: Join a fast-paced, 25-bed Emergency Department staffed with a highly skilled team of 65 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs). The unit operates with a strong interdisciplinary approach, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Staff Composition:
- Day Shift: 1 Assistant Nurse Manager, 9 RNs, 3 EMTs, 2 Unit Secretaries
- Night Shift: 1 Assistant Nurse Manager, 9 RNs, 3 EMTs, 1 Unit Secretary
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 minimum, 5:1 maximum when necessary
- Electronic Medical Record: ED Medi-tech
Key Equipment:
- Rapid infuser
- Vein finders
- Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) machines
- CVP and Arterial lines
- Bedside Ultrasound
- Infant warmer
Required Skills & Qualifications: Must-Haves (Candidates without these will not be considered):
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- Valid certifications: TNCC, ENPC, PALS, ACLS, BLS, CPI/TIC
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- CEN or other specialty certifications
Common Procedures Performed: - Emergency thoracotomy (open)
- Arterial line and CVP placement/readings
- Ultrasound-guided IV insertion
- Targeted temperature management
- Administration and titration of critical medication drips
Ideal Candidate Profile: - Strong critical thinker with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and customer service orientation
Additional Details: - Floating: No floating required
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
- Weekend Requirement: Rotational weekends required
- Policies & Guidelines: Provided during onboarding, covering attendance, triage, trauma, behavioral health (CODE BERT/GRAY), STEMI, SEPSIS, STROKE, and more.
