Position Summary: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Five (5) years acute care nursing with varied experience Two (2) hours of verifiable trauma-related education annually Six (6) hours stroke training annually, NIHSS will count for three (3) hours Preferred: Previous supervisory/management experience Preferred: Critical care or emergency department experience Preferred: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) The House Supervisor provides leadership, coordination and integration of healthcare services, and supervises safety and quality of care. The house supervisor has hospital administrative responsibility in the absence of regular leadership, including serving as incident commander in times of disaster and mass casualty incidents. Additional responsibilities include the management of patient flow throughout the hospital, incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of overall patient care delivery at the departmental level to ensure that patients and families receive optimum care.
