Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Telemetry RN to join a fast-paced, high-performing team providing care for a diverse med-surg telemetry patient population. Ideal candidates have strong cardiac monitoring skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Unit Overview:

• Unit Size: 47 beds

• Staffing Details:

  • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN/CNC, 9-10 RNs, 4 LNAs, 1 Monitor Tech, 1 Secretary

  • Night Shift: 1 Charge RN/CNC, 9 RNs, 4 LNAs, 1 Monitor Tech

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:

  • Days: 1:4-5

  • Nights: 1:5

• EMR System: Sunrise

• Patient Population: Moderate acuity med-surg telemetry including vascular and bariatric patients

• Equipment: Alaris pumps, bladder scanners, Client chest tube drainage systems, Dinamaps, vein finder, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience

• Active RN license

• ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Experience:

• Bariatric patient care experience

• Cardiac nursing background

Additional Details:

• Not a procedural unit

• Floating Required: Yes - within med-surg telemetry units
