Job Details - Med/Surge Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
- Responsibilities include consulting and coordinating with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans, administering medications, educating patients on surgical procedures, recording medical information and vital signs, monitoring specialized equipment, initiating corrective action, providing bedside care for medical patients, initiating patient education plans, changing dressings, inserting catheters, starting IVs, preparing equipment for physician treatment, responding to life-saving situations, and participating in discharge planning.
Job Requirements - Must have WY RN license.
