LONG TERM CARE RN - For Auto Offers, RTO must be 3 days max
Start Date: ASAP (4-6 weeks from offer for compliance requirements) IF NOT LICENSED, WILL NEED TO BOOK 10-12 WEEKS OUT TO ALLOW ENOUGH TIME FOR LICENSE TO POST.
Shift: 3x12 Night (7pm-7:30am)
Ratios: 8:1 days; 13:1 nights
Years of Experience REQ: Home Health or LTC exp preferred. Travel experience is preferred.
Epic REQ? 1 year of Epic experience is preferred.
First-Timers Accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: TBD
Certs REQ: BLS
Skills REQ: IV Insertion, PICC Lines
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Rarely
Open to accommodating block schedule? TBD
Locals Accepted: No
Pending License Accepted: Yes but w/o an AK license they have to be booked 10-12 weeks out
RTO Restrictions: We do not have any specific requirements around Holidays, however if the traveler is here for more than one recognized holiday we would ask them to work one of the holidays.
Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: CVA, Dementia, RA, Afib, Hip fx, Parkinsons, BKA, PNA, COPD, BKA, Hunntington's dx
Common Equipment: Hoyer lift, SARA lift, tube feeding pump, IV pump
This is an LTC unit; however, since it is the only LTC/Nursing Home in the PeaceHealth system, it functions more like an LTAC or step-down unit to MedSurg.
