Unit staffing description: ADOL unit takes patients from 12-18 yo, Serenity is a lower acuity adult unit. ITU is the higher acuity adult unit (patients with thought disorder diagnoses), SRAD has patients that live a senior lifestyle. VINE is lower acuity adult unit.
Documentation system: Meditech

Ability to assess patients' mental health status, including recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders, substance use, and behavioral problems.
Developing individualized care plans based on the needs of patients with mental health and behavioral issues.
Administering psychiatric medications and monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions.
Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate, short-term support to patients in crisis (e.g., suicidal ideation, aggression).
Therapeutic Communication: Building trust and rapport with patients through effective communication skills, active listening, and empathy.

We require coverage for three 12-hour shifts each day, seven days a week, including weekends. Please note that days off are not guaranteed unless specified in the contract.

Floating policy: C/L is utilized where the greatest need is.
Patient Experience requirements: HCA follows ICARE values, I CARE values are integrity, compassion, always, and respect as well as AIDET to keep patients informed and make them feel heard.
