Compensation:
• Weekly Gross: $2,260.00 Per Week
• On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week ($20/hour)
• Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,540.00 Per Week
Position Overview:
Saint Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV, is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a Telemetry Float Pool position. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, rotating every 3 days, providing critical care in various telemetry units throughout the hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for RNs with 1+ year of telemetry experience and who are passionate about delivering quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor patients with cardiac telemetry and other complex conditions in various units.
• Float between different telemetry units as required, ensuring that patient care needs are met across the hospital.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care, progress, and concerns in the electronic health record.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Ensure safety and comfort for patients in the telemetry units.
Job Requirements:
• License: Valid RN license in WV or Compact License.
• Minimum Experience: 1+ year of telemetry nursing experience required.
• Certifications Required:
o BLS (Basic Life Support).
o ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
