Position Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for dynamic travel assignments across various healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will provide critical care in high-pressure environments, delivering life-saving interventions and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in emergency settings. This role demands clinical expertise, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients in emergency medical situations.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and compassionate care during trauma or critical events.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and perform life-saving procedures as needed.
- Monitor patient vitals and react swiftly to any clinical changes.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and technologies.
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions post-emergency treatment.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, documentation standards, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience.
- Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- Preferred: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
- Skills: High-level critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and emotional resilience.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on assignments in different ER environments nationwide.
