Shift: 12H Days 6:45 am-7:15 pm, Could be scheduled (3) 12 hour shifts or (1 )12 hour shift and (3) 8 hour Unit Notes:Critical Care Educator with 3+ years experience and ability to train on CRRT/SLED Required: Strong critical care experience in major academic medical centers. Working Knowledge of critical care device including: CRRT/SLED (NxStage), Impella, ECMO, Balloon Pump, LVAD Strong communication and interpersonal skillsDesired Skills: Charge nurse experience, previous educator/teaching skillsJob duties:Include but not limited to: teaching and mentoring nurses on critical care devices. Participate in rounding on novice nurses with emphasis on supporting clinical best practices and mentorship. Participate in skills fair education for the nursing community. Lead and teach various critical care related class offerings . Attend department huddles and share best practice. Provide just in time remediation training as needed. Other duties as assigned Daily Parking is $15+/day. Multiple options for on/off campus garages and lots ranging from $95 - $120 with monthly pass. RN's need to be open to Floating.Busy/Large Level 1 Trauma Candidates need to be flexible on scheduling - no self scheduling EOW required EPIC required Must be CRRT trained
