HI State RN LicenseMinimum 2 years of experience in the specialtyBLS, ACLS, PALSGeneral Job duties:Caring of patients pre op, phase I and phase II recovery.PACU nurses care for patients after surgery and must demonstrate advanced knowledge of anesthesiology and carrying for patients in Phase I. Candidates for PACU jobs require critical care skills to assess incision sites, monitor body temperature, and track other indicators of stability or complications. Ideal candidates for post-anesthesia care units have natural abilities to think critically. Past experience in critical care and surgical nursing is a plus.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.Meditech, PCA Pumps, Pyxis, Braun IV Pumps, Cryocuff, SCD's, Bair PAWS Warmers, HP Monitors, Phillips Monitors.Required skills and minimum years of experience.2+ years' experience as a critical care RN (i.e., ER & ICU) in a hospital setting may be accepted substitute for PACU nurse experience.Medical & Health Insurance Benefits from First Day for All Clinical and Patient-Facing Employees.401K Plan."Your Way is Paid" - we pay for ALL employment requirements, onboarding, physicals, titers, etc.(HCPK - SMN)
