Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. The RN will provide specialized care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions, bridging the gap between the intensive care unit (ICU) and medical-surgical units. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients with moderate to severe conditions requiring close observation.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment such as cardiac monitors and ventilators.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and post-hospital care.
- Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document care in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Support a patient-centered approach, demonstrating compassion and advocacy.
Pay Details:
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the state of Arizona and 36 hours are achieved):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $70.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,520.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $23.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $828.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,692.00
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $73.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,628.00
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Arizona)/Compact.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS.
