This position emphasizes compassionate care, collaborative teamwork, and attention to patient safety in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients. Develop and implement patient care plans for optimal outcomes. Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection. Advocate for patient safety and health. Provide patient and family education tailored to their readiness and needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and compassionate care. Mentor and precept new staff or nursing students as needed. Required Qualifications: Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (required). Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). Certifications: State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the NLC (required). Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (required). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (required). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ENPC Certification (required). NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (required). Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification (required). Float Requirements: Floating may be required within the zone for critical needs. Assignments may include duties outside of original job requirements in accordance with CommonSpirit policy
