Job Title: RN Med/Surg - Tele

Shift: 6pm to 6:30 am (36 hours per week)
TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN FIRST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENT. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK ON OUR TELEMETRY/MED SURG UNIT. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry. Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit. ACLS Required 36 hours per week - 72 per pay period ACU: Telemetry Ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights Floating is a requirement in ACU is always required for any non-critical care inpatient units including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. Required every 3rd weekend rotation. EMR is Cerner. Traveler will be responsible for self-studying Telemetry strips upon acceptance and a Basic Dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on our Telemetry/Med Surg unit. Note: "We are an equal opportunity employer.
