Shift & Schedule:
- Shift Type: 12-Hour Night Shift
- Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week (36 hours per week)
- Call Requirement: No on-call shifts required
- Weekend Shifts: As needed
- Block Scheduling: Not available
Compensation:
- Weekly Gross: $2,106.00 Per Week
- On W2 (Taxable): $720.00 Per Week ($20/hour)
- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,386.00 Per Week
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse - Rehab will provide safe, competent, and high-quality nursing care for patients in accordance with the facility's policies, standards, and philosophy. The RN will play a key role in delivering patient-centered care while demonstrating excellence in service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the medical-surgical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Monitor vital signs, interpret diagnostic tests, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in the Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Demonstrate leadership by supporting and mentoring other healthcare team members.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Foster a culture of service excellence, ensuring patient satisfaction and high-quality care.
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN License (Active and unrestricted)
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of Rehab experience.
- Travel nursing experience required
- Cerner EHR experience required
- Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility
- Rehabilitation (rehab) experience.

- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
