Job Title: Emergency Department RN
Location: Edison, NJ
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend required; holidays as needed
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
On-Call: Not required
Requested Time Off (RTO): Limited
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Strong clinical experience managing Stroke, Sepsis, and STEMI patients
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Ability to manage up to 20 stroke patients per shift
- Experience in departments with high patient volume (up to 220 patients/day)
Float Requirements:
- Must be able to float within the department: Adult ED, Pediatric ED, and IMC (Intermediate Care Unit) as needed
Required Certifications & Licensure: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Compact License BLS - American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support NIHSS - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
