Job Details - The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination of total nursing care for patients admitted to the ICU.
- Providing support to the patient and family in the dying process.
- Performing admission assessments and subsequent assessments in a systemized, organized, and timely manner.
- Formulating nursing diagnoses based on accessible, communicable, and recorded data.
- Must be able to read EKG strips.
Job Requirements - Current RN license in the State of Indiana.
- 3-5 years experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required (2 years preferred).
- MUST be willing and able to float to Med Surg - 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required.
- Telemetry experience preferred.
Schedule Information - Night shift 645pm-715am.
- Flexible schedule preferred.
- Weekends required.
Unit Specific Information - Scavenger hunt for familiarity, 1-2 shifts on days with preceptor; 1 night shift with preceptor.
- Possible Epic course.
