Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. Both roles involve direct patient care, collaboration with healthcare teams, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities For Registered Nurses (RN):
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and disease management
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient progress, treatment responses, and medical records accurately
For Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN):
- Provide basic nursing care, including wound care, dressing changes, and vital signs monitoring
- Administer oral medications and injections as per physician's orders
- Assist RNs with patient assessments and care plan implementation
- Report changes in patient conditions to RNs and physicians
- Support patient hygiene, mobility, and daily activities
Qualifications For Registered Nurses (RN):
- Active RN license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
For Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN):
- Active LPN license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 6 months of nursing experience preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
