Registered Nurse - Endoscopy 8-Hour Days + Call 13-Week Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: Monday to Friday, eight-hour shifts On-call schedule includes two to three weekday on-calls per four weeks, six to eight late shifts, and weekend call every fifth weekend Compensation: Competitive pay, discussed upon application Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced endoscopy unit. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and proficiency in advanced gastroenterology and pulmonary procedures. The nurse will work closely with physicians to prepare patients preoperatively, assist during procedures, and provide post-procedure recovery care. Responsibilities Provide specialized nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, and social sciences Support high-risk outpatients and critically ill inpatients Assist in procedures including bronchoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, robotic-assisted navigational bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement, capsule endoscopy, and more Ensure optimal patient outcomes, safety, and quality care Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act Requirements Required: Active Ohio Registered Nurse License or Compact License Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications from the American Heart Association One to two years of endoscopy experience Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
