Job Details - 5S Medical Surgical/Oncology RN
- 29 Bed Unit. Adult Population- Medical and surgical patients battling cancer, palliative care and family education of the oncological processes. Urology and Telemetry patients included.
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Ratios: 4-5:1 Patient Ratio (Days); 5-6:1 Patient Ratio (Nights)
- Shift Info: 36 or 48hr contract options; Every other weekend required
Job Requirements - WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license
- 2 Years of experience required
- Certs Required: BLS, ONC Preferred
- Skill Requirements: Telemetry; Central Line Draws, Ports, Blood Administration, PCA Pumps, Bone Marrow Aspiration Assist, Pleurx Chest Tubes
Schedule Information - 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
- 36hrs guaranteed
- Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
Unit Specific Information - Candidates are not allowed to start with certs pending or are permitted to complete onsite.
Additional Details - Valid Drivers License is required. Candidate will not be considered without this.

- Flu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
