Job Details - Emergency Department RN
- 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
- Start date: Orientation/Start Date held every other week on Thursday
- Ratios: 3:1
- Patient Population: Adults/Geriatrics
- Years of experience REQ: 2 Years of Experience Required; 1-Year Minimum in-specialty experience required.
- First-Time travelers accepted if they have appropriate experience
- Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required
- No call requirements
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? If needed
- Blocked schedules offered
- Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 - RNs choice. OT AFTER 48hrs for 4x12s
Job Requirements - IV Start and Telemetry experience
- Non-Trauma ED Experience
- Cardiac Monitoring/Emergency Response: Interpretation & Management of dysrhythmias
- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration; Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, and Starting IV
- Medications: Conscious IV sedation, IV Vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration
- Respiratory/Thoracic: CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of ABGs, Ventilated Patients
- CERNER experience REQUIRED
- Pending License accepted: WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license but must have active WV/Compact RN license in hand to submit
Schedule Information - 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a
- Weekdays, every other weekend
- Orientation/Start Date held every other week on Thursday
Unit Specific Information - Candidates are not allowed to start with certs pending or are permitted to complete onsite.
Additional Details - Valid Drivers License is required. Candidate will not be considered without this.
- Social Security Card required. Must be legible.
- Please require if the candidate is working on a compact license. Driver's license must match compact state license.
