Duties: The Associate Director is responsible for the daily operations of the Nursing Department. Acts for the Director of Nursing in Director's absence. Acts as liaison between hospital and outside agencies, i.e. Fire Department, Con Edison, Brooklyn Union Gas, Building Department, and State Health Department.
Skills: Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience and minimum three (3) years administrative experience Must have minimum two (2) years of Infection Control or Quality Improvement experience.
Education: Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required. License/Certifications: Licensed Registered Nurse required."
