Job Title: RN - Behavioral Health
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11213
Schedule: 9a-5p, Mon-Fri
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Weekly Pay: 2,538.00
Skills:
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement comprehensive care plans addressing patient needs.
- Provides direct nursing care, including managing withdrawal symptoms, agitation, suicidal behaviors, and medication administration.
- Responds to psychiatric emergencies using non-violent crisis interventions and maintains Infection Control Standards.
- Conducted individual and group health teaching/counseling sessions and participated in clinical/treatment rounds.
- Ensures procedures follow mental health nursing standards and delegates appropriate tasks to support staff.
- Evaluates patient responses, revises care plans accordingly, and documents outcomes, including discharge teaching.
Required Experience:
- One (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of PMCS.
- Must have quality Psychiatry experience.
- Inpatient experience.
- Reporting on the OMH experience.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
License:
