We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Staff Nurse to join our dedicated team in the Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in pediatric nursing and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the med/surg unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric medical/surgical nursing experience.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
