Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) - NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx Facility: Jacobi Medical Center, Bronx, NY Start Date: 04/07/2025 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (40 hours/week) Overview: The CNO will lead nursing strategy, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff empowerment, and operational efficiency. This role involves collaboration with leadership to optimize resources, enhance patient outcomes, and uphold regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement nursing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Lead nursing teams using evidence-based practices. Optimize resource allocation in collaboration with clinical/administrative leaders. Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with standards. Promote professional development and mentorship. Drive patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical excellence initiatives. Advocate for nursing at the executive level. Qualifications: Required: Master's in Nursing or related field (Doctorate preferred). Licenses/Certifications: RN license, relevant nursing leadership certifications. Experience: 10+ years in nursing leadership, including senior management. Skills: Healthcare regulations, quality improvement, change management, team leadership. Preferred: Experience in multi-facility systems or academic medical centers. Successful implementation of nursing initiatives improving patient care. Involvement in professional organizations and community health efforts. Technical Skills: Proficient in EHR systems, data analytics, and financial management. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
