Average of cases per day 5 Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS and ACLS Common Cases CABG, AVR, MVR, Robotic Thoracic, Robotic General, All vascular (thrombectomies, carotids, EVARs, TEVARS, Aortobifem, etc.) Experience or 'Must have' skills CVOR circulating experience Is scrubbing required for RNs? Not required Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes, manager and charge RN on each shift. Manager and charge RN will both work in rooms. OR techs? CSTs and instrument techs. EMR: EPIC. Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) with call Weeknight/Call Requirements 1-2 weeknights / week Weekend/Call Requirements 1 weekend every 5ish weeks Holiday/Call Requirements Holiday rotation What is call response time? 30 minutes Floating Requirements None Scrub Color/Dress Code Hospital issued gray scrubs to be worn in CVOR How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? Dependent on applicant, likely 1-2 weeks of orientation.
