Job Description:
- Provide compassionate, age-appropriate nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
- Monitor patient conditions, assess vital signs, and promptly report any significant changes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Collaborate with pediatricians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Support families through emotional and medical challenges, offering guidance and resources.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with facility and legal standards.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators, feeding pumps, and monitors.
- Provide care for a variety of pediatric conditions, including:
- Prematurity, AOP, ROP
- BPD/CLD, congenital cardiac defects
- Feeding difficulties and failure to thrive
- Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) and iatrogenic NAS
- Manage complex care including tracheostomy and ventilator support.
- Ensure a safe and child-friendly environment, incorporating play and developmental support when appropriate.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and vaccination guidelines

Requirements: - Active MD RN License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience
Experience required in:
- Pediatric Med/Surg
- PCU
- Prematurity, AOP, ROP
- BPD/CLD, Cardiac defects
- Feeding issues, NAS, iatrogenic NAS
- Tracheostomy and ventilator
Vaccination Requirements: - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required
- Flu Vaccine: Required (No Exemptions)
