• Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,442.00 Per Week Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical - Orthopedic unit at Ardent Health Services BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting, with experience in Orthopedics and Telemetry. The position involves a Day 4x12-hour shift with an expected start date of April 14, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for patient care and looking to join a supportive, dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to Medical Surgical and Orthopedic patients.
• Monitor telemetry patients in a centralized unit.
• Float to other units of equal or lesser acuity as needed.
• Work in coordination with a charge nurse and collaborate with Patient Care Technicians and Patient Transporters.
• Utilize EPIC as the documentation system.
• Provide patient education and assist in discharge planning.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and hospital policies. Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical/Orthopedic nursing experience.
• Certifications: o BLS (Basic Life Support) o NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Other Requirements:
• Must be able to float to other units as needed.
• EPIC experience required.
• Telemetry monitoring experience is a plus.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas or compact.
• Location: Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility as per the travel rule.
• Travelers: First-time travelers are accepted. Facility Information:

• Charge Nurse: Floating, no set charge nurse assigned.
• Float Requirement: Yes, to units of equal or lesser acuity.
